Hello community, yesterday my husband received an email indicating that the I-130 form we filed was approved, but I haven't received any notification on this platform yet. I wanted to know what the next step is after the I-130. We've been filing the I-130 and I-485 since July of last year. will they send me an approval or an interview for the I-485? Thank you.

Hello everyone, has any recently submitted a work permit or combo card renewal this year 2025 under pending VAWA and i485 green card applications??? From January 2025 till date, if yes, any movement or approval on it???

N-400 Interview Passed, RFE Submitted – Still No Decision

I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I passed my N-400 interview back in December 2022, but the officer told me that a decision could not be made at that time. Shortly after, I received a Request for Evidence (RFE), which I responded to promptly. It’s now been over a year and a half, and I still haven’t received any update or decision from USCIS. The case status remains unchanged. Has anyone experienced such a long delay after submitting an RFE? Has anyone taken legal action (such as filing a writ of mandamus) against USCIS due to this kind of prolonged delay? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences or any advice on what steps I can take next.

if I have my form 1-40 approve it already, but priority day it’s july2023 can I apply for work permit before or just until my date it’s current. not sure about this

Hi everyone!! I moved from Dallas to California, but the lawyer that I was using initially lives in Florida. Now I have a new lawyer working on my case in California. My Vawa was approved in 2023, but my I- 485 was closed because USCIS did not have jurisdiction over my case and I had a master hearing with the court. long story short I got my case dismissed out of the court and USCIS reopened my I-485. the issue I am having now is that all of my receipts and letters are going to my old lawyer even thou my new lawyer put in the paperwork to show that she is my new lawyer and also to change my address. now I have an interview for my I- 485 in Florida and I have never lived in Florida. what do you guys think I should do ????

Interview Done - USCIS asked for RFE in June. submitted right away. no recipt notice received

Hello quick question- Did my interview in April, USCIS asked for RFE in June. send it right away. I haven’t received receipt notice that they received the RFE. I have tracking number it says it’s delivered. what should I expect I heard after 90 days of RFE i485 will be denied and I have to refile. Or uscis will take time to process RFE. #i485
