I filed my adjustment of status documents in November 2022 and my husband is a U.S. citizen. My I-130 was approved on June 8, 2023. I have received my work permit twice (June 9, 2023 and May 19, 2025). I had my I-485 interview on November 12 and about six weeks later my case changed to Request for Initial Evidence was sent on December 31, 2025 and I am still waiting to receive the RFE letter. I am experiencing anxiety and depression and I honestly cannot handle this stress anymore. Has anyone else had their I-485 interview and then received an RFE and how long did it take to get a decision after responding

te van a pedir que actualices información no te estreses tal vez evidencia actualizada, así me pasó a mi y me pidieron actualizar la I864 x que el número de hogar y los ingresos no coinciden con los actuales pero ya lo envié y todo normal

my husband went to his interview July 7,2025 everything went well got the white paper with first box check said we didn't need another interview and supervisor was going to look over next day asked for Ref we send them before deline in October 2,2025 and we've been waiting for a response for 96 days so far

I had the interview on October 28, 2025 and the interview went Super well and I got a simple RFE. It’s been 75 days since the interview and I’m still waiting

They asked me for another medical exam. I think that’s everything now; I already went to the interview
