still waiting for my wife I-130 to get approved. I Filed back in March 2025 Does anyone know how much longer? We are trying to have a baby But we’re thinking we should just wait until everything is done and she’s here in the states Does anyone know if a baby is born abroad? Does he become a US citizen? I was born in the state? my wife lives in Brazil.

definitely you should wait it’s a long process there on November of 2024 I’m on 14 months waiting for interview but in all process 2 year and half waiting for my husband to be with me

Don’t hold your life because of the immigration process, when the baby comes, it’s a blessing! plus it will even solidify and strengthen your marriage relationship when the interview time comes at the embassy. When a baby is born abroad, you will file for CRBA….do research about it. I have seen many people while in waiting having babies and they file for this. All in all, it’s a process, sit back and relax, this journey requires one to be very Patient😊. My PD is Dec 2024, and I’m here still waiting, but hoping to get approved soon.

yes the baby will be u.s citizen as long as you are a citizen before the baby was born and you are the biological father.... am waiting since April 2023 still no approval

We’re similar, my wife is March 10 she is waiting on I-130 , 302 days already, I just joined military I’m shipping out on February , she is in the United States and she came illegally, i don’t know if the fact the I joined the military will Speed up the process, I saw some similar cases and it’s all taking at least 2 years for approval specially now days , she will be home during my training, god forbid nothing happens to her
