Case Processing
8 months since I-130 was approved.
This is unbelievable… 25 months since we applied. 8 months since I-130 was approved… married to a us citizen. Our case is in Charleston SC 🥲 we just reached out the senate, hopefully we hear news soon. I got accepted for college this fall and I really need my green card to get in state tuition. We have been Georgia resident for more than 8 years!
Any other advise let me know!

10 years GC or 2 years
I have been married for 1 year and 11 months, and our 2nd anniversary is coming up in June. My I-130 has been approved, but I received an RFE for medical with a deadline in July. One thing is we will be moving from Minnesota to Wisconsin on May 30. I already have my medical results, can I submit them in June to avoid further RFEs and get a 10-year green card instead of a 2-year one? I’m hoping this will be our last RFE.

Error in 140 approval notice!?
I received the approval notice of my NIW I140 petition with a PD nov 22 and approved on Aug 23. However, the approval notice is confusing. It says, "I am not eligible to file an adjustment of status application at this time" I am not sure what that mean?
I have been maintaining the visa status since I entered the US. Although i have applied my adjustment of status concurrently back in dec 22 and rdceived EAD. Now the case status for 485 is showing case remains pending due to visa unavailable. Does anyone have the same experience or already got approved GC with similar notice?. Is it a mistake or due to retrogress during approval? Any insight would be helpful and appreciated.
