it’s usually 1month after the 485 has been received. however, it varies for so many people. I received the appointment notice 2 weeks before the appointment. if you recently had your biometrics taken by them, e.g for change of status, they will reuse the biometrics.

is there any limit of using old biometrics ? like 1 year etc...i applied i-485 last year; it has been almost a year, my case was in "the case was received" now it says "case has change a new center and jurisdication" so do i need to have a biometrics ? or they bypassed; since the application stayed a year. @M K @T. @Al O the biometrics is usually valid for 15 months. But it’s not the actual data but FBI check. USCIS doesn’t store the biometrics data but transfer those to receive a report. I had to repeat the process because my previous one was expired
