You should have received it already, it's only taking 2 to 3 days, send an email to the one I'll put here with the approval letter and they will send you the welcome letter nvcresearch@state.gov

My husband's case was approved in August and I already have everything completed in the NVC. @noe q

My lawyers have submitted 2 inquiries. the last one was September 12 and they still don’t respond. Would it be better if I send one myself? @Paula Franco
Paula FrancoSep 23, 2024
Yes, send it from your email to them with your approval letter @noe q

does you case status say that it was sent to the department of state? my wife’s case still says “case was approved” even though we received the approval letter saying it was sent to the nvc.
Paula FrancoSep 23, 2024
It says sent to the state department, but the approval letter says they already sent it, so you can send the email with the approval letter and you will have your welcome letter in a few days. @noe q

noe qSep 23, 2024
my wife’s case still says “case was approved” her case status has NOT changed to “case was sent to department of state” but I will do what @Paula Franco said which is email them with the approval letter and see what happens @antony fernandez

@Chelsea black my wife’s is from and currently in Mexico City. Her daughter (my step-daughter) got approved as well and I actually got her Welcome letter from NVC in early August. but not for my wife for some reason.

Honestly I’m not sure how I got approved that quick. I was shocked but happy myself.

@estrella lopez I have been checking but still nothing. I’m glued to my emails everyday.

how was it approved so quickly? did you do it with a lawyer? I did mine in July 26 2023 and still nothing 😭

We never received a letter in the mail. Only an email.

noe qSep 25, 2024
@Paula Franco I did exactly what you did and I got a response from NVC. But unfortunately they said they never received the approved petition from USCIS. They said they will contact them but who knows how long that will take.
Paula FrancoSep 25, 2024
Talk live with Emma at USCIS and explain what is happening with your case, and an agent will assist you. @noe q
Paula FrancoSep 25, 2024
your case is not adjustment of status? @noe q
n
noe qSep 25, 2024
@Paula Franco thanks! what do you mean by adjustment of status?
n
noe qSep 25, 2024
Her case status still says “case was approved” it hasn’t changed. it should says “case was sent to the department of state” right?
Paula FrancoSep 25, 2024
yes @noe q
Paula FrancoSep 25, 2024
But after approval, it doesn't take many days to send it to the NVC. Read the letter and the i130 to see if they gave you the embassy where the case will be processed. @noe q
n
noe qSep 25, 2024
@Paula Franco it doesn’t say but it will most likely be the embassy in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. My step daughter who got the welcome letter will go through Ciudad Juarez.
Paula FrancoSep 25, 2024
Call USCIS, do you know how to do it so that a person answers you? @noe q
n
noe qSep 25, 2024
Yeah I did call them on September 17th and explained everything and they submitted an inquiry and would get back to me October 17th. So frustrating…@Paula Franco
Paula FrancoSep 25, 2024
Wow, I hope you get an answer soon, because mine was approved on August 12, 2024 and I received the welcome letter on August 20. @noe q
