I-130 Online Signature Question
Hi all! I filed my I-130 online and now am worried I did not sign it correctly. The online process prompted me to type my first and last name into the signature field and nothing further. Now when viewing the PDF is just has my name typed in the signature field . I am also reading that digital signatures are not accepted. Does your name being typed in when submitting online count as your signature, or should I have printed, signed, and uploaded the form?

you know the right thing to do and refuse to do it ,you should have printed and sign it ,that would have been the best

once you file your I-130 online , the online signature is fine . I file all my I-130 cases online and they get approved without printing out and sign.

@emmanuel okochs umm no that is not correct at all, and thanks for being of zero help and just rude. my point is the online process prompts you each step and asks to “type your full legal name in the space provided” but on the 1-130 forms its self it says to physically sign. so there are two conflicting directions all from USCIS, not me choosing to ignore anything

it will not let you move forward and submit it, if you didn’t sign it. so you are fine. Filing online eliminates a lot of errors.
