next step after biometrics
I have seen a few denials for greencard after vawa approval and I am becoming a bit nervous. For all those that encouraged me to go for biometrics and not panic, I want to specifically thank you. That went well. I was hoping if anyone who has gone through same process of second biometrics after vawa approval could comment on what came next after that.
Mandamus
Friends, I decided to share the link again for those who want to join the group mandamus lawsuit. This lawsuit is intended to force USCIS to adjudicate Form I-485. I’m including the attorney’s link below. The idea is simple: the more people join, the stronger the case becomes.
The cost is $2,200 per family.
If you’ve been waiting a long time, I encourage you to join, because it’s very difficult to gather a large enough group to move forward. The usual cost of filing a mandamus individually starts at $6,000, so this is a very good option.
All questions should be directed to the attorney — I’m only sharing this information as a volunteer.
Remember that the backlog and processing times continue to grow.
The backlog is now almost 100,000 cases, and since January it has increased by 35,000 cases. It grows by 5,000 cases every month. You can verify all this data on the USCIS website in the “Data” section.
In the end, the decision is yours, but I will do everything I can to get a green card faster.

I've written to the Congressman, to USCIS, through regular mail, email, and on the website. Nothing's working. The options are either wait or act.

i485 JSON data shows something was updated yesterday (IFA event),
Hi everyone, I’m a little confused and hoping for guidance.
My I-485 JSON data shows something was updated yesterday (IFA event), even though my case status didn’t change. Has anyone else had this happen? What did it lead to?
Not sure if this means an officer reviewed my case or if it’s normal system activity.
