Hi everyone, I’m a little confused and hoping for guidance.
My I-485 JSON data shows something was updated yesterday (IFA event), even though my case status didn’t change. Has anyone else had this happen? What did it lead to?
Not sure if this means an officer reviewed my case or if it’s normal system activity.

RFE came for I-485 Supplement J for my EB-1A self petition (no job offer required)
Today, RFE was sent for my I-485 Supplement J for my EB-1A Self-petition (no job offer required) and case status was “RFE was sent” after 30-40 mins status changed to “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS” Nothing outstanding is required at this time.
Is this something unusual? Do I need to respond to that RFE?
what are the best possible options in this scenario?
online account, RFE doc is there in documents tab and online account showing rfe is still active but status is actively reviewing by USCIS.

Are employment based AOS adjudication paused?
The timeline for EB AOS is very quiet here and in other forums. Is the EB adjudication paused? It seems family based cases are progressing very quickly.

Quit working for sponsor employer
my PD is 01/2022 and I have worked for my sponsor employer for almost 2 yrs full-time position ranging from 30-40hrs per week. I also have another remotely job that I have been doing for almost 3 yrs and now they offer me full-time position with full benefits but I have to come to the office (office in CA and I’m currently working for sponsor employer in GA). My case is still in CRP so idk if I can quit working for my sponsor employer now 😅
They are also giving 4 months to finish whenever I’m doing here so I don’t know if I will have my GC in time 🥲
2nd RFE
This process has been incredibly draining. I submitted in September and were onto our second RFE. it’s such a straightforward case that I’m a little concerned why I received another RFE. is this common? why is the process like this? I
wish they would just call my lawyer to clarify. now I have to wait another few weeks.
Interview was scheduled
Guys, I just want to tell you not to lose faith. I know that only those who are going through this waiting period understand how hard it is, but God knows everything, and everything happens at the right time. I was waiting for an update about my work permit approval, and I was surprised with the news that my interview has been scheduled. God is good all the time!!!
