Case Processing
I-360 VAWA
I came here october 2018 with my mom I was a cr2 was category on my 2 year green which i received on november 11 2019 and it expired on 2021 which was filed via i485. (My mom married her US Citizen fiance on november 2018, he died on 2023) things went down my mom and i left home due to abuse on 2020 and went to a shelter march 2020 till november 2022. my mom filed vawa on march 2022. if my vawa gets approved what will be the next step? would i file another i485 or n400?
Can my time as a CF2 conditional resident from 2019 be credited toward my naturalization residency requirement under VAWA? Or should I wait for my vawa to be approved and apply for n400 (because some say I’m eligible).
self deportation
Hi everyone, my brother is a 10 year green card holder and was on his way back to the US from a travel. When he got to the border patrol they told him he was inadmissible due to a previous arrest.
And the gave him an option to go to Ice detainment center while he waits to get in front of an immigration attorney or self deport.
he didn’t want to go into ice detention so he chose to self deport.
Now we are looking for ways to get back his green card.
we spoke to an attorney who said we can file a law suit with a federal judge to get the green card back since he signed the papers out of duress.
Has anyone ever been through this and if so how was it rectified?
please be kind in the comments, thank you.

filing mandamus
My interview was completed 224 days ago and still shows 'interview completed' and 'case must be reviewed.' I've worked for my sponsor for 3 years, but since last year, I've only worked 20 to 25 hours per week. I'm planning to file mandamus, but I'm unsure if I should wait for the decision or proceed with the filing, considering my part-time work schedule. Could working 20-25 hours per week impact my case?
