Good Afternoon ! On August 7th, I missed my interview because the lawyer told me that I had submitted a request for a reschedule interwiev because they had not added my husband to my case, but I did not go to the interview at the request of the lawyer. After that, I received a notice failure to appear. After that I received a notice from USCIS, to file a request for a rescheduling within 45 days, which the lawyer had filed on August 26th and USCIS received it on September 2nd, but I have not received any update from USCIS yet. It has been 38 days. what should i do please give me your kind suggestions.

where is my I-485 reciept notice?
My husband and I filed for I-130 and I-485 collectively in October 2023, we recieved the reciept notice for my I-130 but not my i-485. my I-130 is now approved - so my husband and I have decided to re-send my I-485 application to remind UCIS of my application. I haven’t received a work permit or advanced parole in the past 2 years. it’s been very difficult - can anyone guide?
Just for reference - my husband is an American citizen

hola buen a día a todos , una pregunta , yo mande exámenes médicos después de aprobación de vawa,ahora me mandaron cita biométrica pero a otra ciudad que no es en la que vivo, pusieron la ciudad de mi abogado , alguien con caso similar? la primera cita biométrica si me la dieron en mi ciudad , alguien que le pasó lo mismo?

Guys i just literally finished my interview for my adjustment of status today. And i will tell you it was so smooth, only yes or no question to about AOS and they get my medical and after that she congratulated me.
To those people who are afraid because they don’t have atty. please dont! i went by myself Just answer the questions politely and with honesty and that’s it. They already have your papers there so they know wether you will pass or not. So don’t be afraid even you are alone. You will be okay. and nextime you are the next who will passed the interview!. God bless everyone guys!

Guys, I had my green card interview yesterday and thank God I was attended by a great officer, I was scheduled for 1pm but I arrived 1h in advance and they called me at 12:45, my lawyer said I didn't need to take my photo album and I still did, and that's what approved my case! The officer asked my husband to tell our story of how it all started, and after just 1 minute the officer said "I love photo albums and you don't have to finish telling them, your case is approved" he didn't ask me any questions apart from if I had committed any crime or if I intended to commit any crime against the USA, and he also asked for our proof of address and last year's tax and that was it!!!

case transferred from field office to nbc
I recently learnt from Emma ( not sure how accurate ) but wanted to check.
I did my biometrics yesterday and apparently my file was sent back from the field office to NBC due to missing information. they also mentioned most likely to be attached to the digital file. would you know what this means and if this makes sense?
certified copies
hi. how do you certify copies in the US? I’ve asked just about everyone I know, and everyone says it can’t happen with international documents? is a certified copy from your home country enough? stamped and sign by a Commissioner of Oaths? that’s how a copy is certified in my home country. but does that count for the US? what did you guys do?
i-485 RFIE
i sent 485 for my spouse on Aug 20th 2025, i unfortunately forgot to submit 864 with it, so they sent me RFIE on Sep 2nd, she did her biometrics today and looks like they accepted my RFIE.
her case is now back to processing normally but hopefully its not a long wait time before they ask for an interview…

Guys end of an era!! My i485 interview was Aug 25th and I got an RFE for my expired i693 (medical). They received my new sealed package amd approved 3 days later.
my I130 was approved Dec 2023 and I live in the US. #f2A #i485
