Case Processing
3/3/26 interview experience
I went to the interview today at Brooklyn USCIS in NYC. it was very brief. the staff were pretty nice from begining to the end.
we greeted each other with a smile and then I said I was nervous on my way to his office. he said there’s nothing to worry about, and that he reviewed my case prior to the interview.
after i sat down, he asked for medical exam. then verify my current address. asked if my answers on the i485 were truthful. then he stamped the Approval on document. i signed, did fingerprints and took a picture. then he congratulated me, and joked “you didn’t think it would be this easy”, i laughed and teared up at the same time, then he walked me out.
That’s it. The total time spent was probably 10-12min max.
I am still in shock how simple and straightforward it was. I am still grateful to my lawyer to make sure I brought like 2lbs of documents tho. Also thankful to have such nice officer.
I thank God for listening to my prayers and seeing my hardworks.
I wish everyone the best luck. Your time will come as long as you do the right thing.
**sorry about the no caps, my phone is acting up badly**

Casi 10 meses esperando por la aprobación de mi novia cubana. Procesing times para la I-12f categoría de visa K-1 en California dice que en 10 meses el 80% de los casos. Parece que somos el 20%😭
