I received this response from USCIS through my Congressman’s inquiry regarding my VAWA case:
“USCIS is aware of your inquiry and is monitoring progress related to it. However, unresolved issues in your constituent’s case require a thorough review before a decision can be made. Unfortunately, we cannot speculate as to when this review process will be completed.”
Vawa 360 Update
Hi everyone,
I received an update on my VAWA I-360 case today stating that my expedite request was denied. I originally submitted the expedite request due to my father’s health condition, and that request was denied back in October 2024.
Today, I received the same “Expedite Request Denied” update again on my I-360, even though I have not submitted a new expedite request recently.
There has been no movement on my I-485 since March 2022, when my fingerprints were taken.
Has anyone else received this same update today or recently, especially for an older expedite request? If you have experienced something similar, what happened afterward? Did your I-360 continue processing, receive an RFE, get approved, or have any other update?
I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through the same situation. What should I expect next, and is there anything I should do at this point?

O-1 I-290B appeal timeline:
Has anyone had an O-1 I-290B appeal reviewed by the same USCIS officer after a denial? How many days did it take to receive a decision?
My O-1 appeal has been pending for over 90 days after USCIS acknowledged that the officer would review it. Has anyone experienced a similar timeline and eventually received an approval?##

we have a pending APA lawsuit for a wrongful denial . USCIS initially scheduled an interview for September 11 they then cancelled the interview 4 days later. this morning I got notification they have scheduled an interview again but there is no interview notice in the document tab. anyone had this happen before?
I-360 VAWA (Oct 2022) + Mandamus filed April 2026
Hi everyone,
My Form I-360 VAWA petition was filed on October 6, 2022 at the Vermont Service Center. Due to no updates, my lawyer filed a Mandamus lawsuit in Federal Court on April 7, 2026. I recently signed the 8 USC § 1367 confidentiality waiver requested by USCIS.
For anyone who has gone through Mandamus or has a 2022 VAWA case?
Mandamus Timeline: If you filed Mandamus for your I-360, how long after submitting the confidentiality waiver/serving the government did you get a decision or an RFE?
Late 2022 Fillers: Have any September, October, or November 2022 filers who didn't file Mandamus received updates or approvals recently?
360 & I-485 Simultaneous Approval: For those who filed I-360 and I-485 concurrently, did USCIS approve both together after Mandamus, or did they only approve the
I-360 first and make you wait for the Green Card? If approved separately, how long did the I-485 take after I-360?

medical practitioner with a pending vawa case
I’m a medical professional from one of the ban country. I filed vawa feb 2023 and work permit was issued for 2years which also expired last year but was renewed until next year March. I filed expedite based on my professional license but was denied last year. Now with the recent decision by the government in need of medical doctors, can I file another expedite with proof? I have discussed it with my attorney but he has not given me any response for over 2 months now. what can I do now because I frustrated and it is kind of limiting my chances to many things. Thank you for your response.
