Case Processing
Is Lawfully case update of “Notice of Intent” correct?
I have “Notice of Intent” on my lawfully case status. I called USCIS and was told the case status does not show that on their end. A notice for my case sent to my address was returned to USCIS because it could not be delivered. I have contacted them to resend it.
I received an RFE earlier on February 14, in which I was only asked to provide proof of good moral character. I provided everything in March: police clearances in my name and aliases used, reference letter from my church coordinator, stating my devotion to children in church as a babysitter. I also included reviews from my students, and other supporting documents. My response was updated on my USCIS account on March 16, informing me my case was being reviewed again and I would get an update from them.
I wonder why lawfully shows “Notice of Intent” as my update now, when I submitted the proof of good moral character, which was the only thing that was required. I do not have a criminal record.
Lawfully grouped me 257/358 —> 8/18 & now 1/1. how accurate?
Vawa i360 was approved Dec 2024 & i485 was receivd May2025. None of my cases had RFE or interviews & I sent i693 with i485. I did biometrics Sept 2025 & case was transferred from Nebraska to Vermont since then.Lawfully grouped me 257-358 in March 2026 & then 8/18 since April started & now a week ago I became 1/1 . how long till I can expect approval ? I know these are just ball park predictions but anyone with similar experience can tell me if the ranking was accurate for them ?
fingerprints is it normal?
Guys, I need some help determining if everything is in order. This concerns my mother's petition, which was filed by my father. My father is a U.S. citizen. We just received a fingerprinting notice, but it is addressed to my father—whereas my mother is currently in Poland, going through the consular processing track. Is this some kind of mistake, or is USCIS looking to verify something extra?

VAWA AND GREEN CARD 2022 help
I filed a VAWA case as a derivative applicant through my mother. She is the petitioner and was married to a lawful permanent resident.
We submitted the I-360 on October 31, 2022. I understand that we could not file the I-485 concurrently at that time because it only applies to spouses of U.S. citizens. However, we later filed my I-485 on February 13, 2023.
In August 2023, I completed my biometrics appointment. I also received my Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and Social Security Number (SSN). Additionally, I have receipt notices for both the I-360 and I-485.
My I-360 case status has only been updated to show that the fees were waived. I have not received any Requests for Evidence (RFE) or other updates since filing.
As for supporting evidence, my case includes:
* Three police reports
* Two witness statements
* A medical report documenting alcoholism
* Photos showing property damage
* Chat records and audio transcripts
* Personal statements from both my mother and me
I believe the case is strong, but I am concerned about the lack of updates. I would like to know if this is normal or if there could be an issue with my case.
I-751 (ROC) - partially paused country
has anyone applying for removal of conditions from a partially paused country noticed a change on the closed I-485? I have a pending I-751 since Dec 2024 at Vermont, and I’m from a partial ban country. I just noticed that my I-485 Is now saying “in progress” again in the last couple of days
Finally - Documentarily complete and ready for the next step
We received this message from NVC Three days ago (your case is documentarily complete and ready for the next step).
I was so happy, it took us(me and my wife a USC) 6 Months and 14 days to get here, though I'm from one of the 75 countries on visa pause, I pray for the best moving forward.
