I got rfe
please help me on this. my case pending since 2022. I got arrested by ice in nov 2025. last week I got released. but I get rfe of good faith and share residency. my case was pending for long time. I received 9 prima facie they asked for rfe before. they even transferred my 485 to lee summit mo. I already send everything. I’m very scare now.

if you have a lawyer, consult them. if you don’t get any useful info from anyone, hire a lawyer

if the deadline for the RFE hasn’t past yet, send what they’re asking for. if it’s already past, still send what they asked for with a cover letter explaining you were detained by ICE

yea ice arrested for no reason. because u had not green card. my background was clean. not even traffic ticket. I had status. but they had ordered to arrest people who are not green card holders or citizens. but good thing it is ice who released me. yea my attorney working on it. I still have deadline till 21 sep so hopefully next week my attorney sending response to them.

I’m so sorry to hear that. How did they arrest you? How long have you been there?
I heard that ICE has been arresting a lot of people with EADs at domestic airports as well. All the best with your RFE. Send all the documents and evidence you have. I truly hope you get your green card as soon as possible. I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Sad to hear that so they kept you 9 months in detention with no other concerning backround while on legal pending status? That's a situation that can cost severe anxiety to many lawfully immigrants that awaiting their desition especially in vawa survivors that are already exausted from abuser abuse, andextreme long timelines . Please explain better you might be able to help many people understand. Did you had legal or illegal entry? have you had filed Asylum in the past? And Did you had the chance to show them your pending adjustments Papers before the arrest? Thanks from all, in advance

@Taran s mine filed April 2022, I received Last month an RFE for good faith marriage, and my Lawyer want me to pay $6,500 to respond an RFE I told her to forget about it I will do it by myself, she filed my VAWA and charged me $12,500, now you wanna me to pay additional fees $6,500 he'll no.. Now I paid another one he did and review everything, he is going to send my package next week. my deadline is before October 26th 2026.
