I’m sharing my journey to becoming a US citizen on 01/28/22 to encourage those still anxiously waiting… 05/19/20 I-751 submitted to USCIS 06/12/20 Biometrics was reused 08/24/21 N-400 submitted to USCIS 08/30/21 Biometris reused 10/29/21 spouse filed for divorce 11/16/21 Got served by the sheriff department 11/17/21 Spouse voluntarily dismissed divorce case 12/23/21 Interview scheduled for 01/27/22 Recieved both I-751 & N-400 interview letters. 01/27/22 Both cases approved 01/28/22 Oath ceremony. *My spouse was with me for my I-751 interview. I know the wait is usually excruciating to say the least. However, if your marriage is legitimate, you have nothing to fear nor worry about. God bless you all and may God grant you guys still waiting favor.

H4 approved, but I’m confused

After 8 months of waiting, my H4 got finally approved. I applied for a period starting June 1 2021 (my J2 expired May 31), but approved period is from January 25 2022. Anyone know how is the period June 1 2021 - January 24 2022 treated? is it illegal stay? or since the application was pending from May 2021, that period is legal?

has anyone ever had luck contacting NVC customer care. I am trying to call them and waiting in queue for last 1.5 hrs but no response yet

EAD received with category C09P

I have pending I-485 application with USCIS under EB3. received ead with category C09P. I thought category for employment based ead is E09, so my question is E09P and E09 same?

What’s next after I-130 approval?

I -130 approved. We had filed I-485 in April 2020 & paid fee for it. Now my case has been moved to NVC, from there email came & mentioned in it that my interview is scheduled im Mumbai while I am in USA. Is anybody faced same before, suggest what to do next. Thanks in advance

After 390 long days our paperwork was finally approved and we're just waiting on our welcome letter from the NVC. My husband currently lives in Fiji, but we're wondering is there something else we should be doing in the meantime while we're waiting for the letter? Also, does anyone have an idea of how long until he'll be able to join me in the states from this point?

guys please share your experience if someone had an interview for i751 in Texas. I'm tired and upset so much. I'm waiting for my interview since Feb 2019. 36 months and no change so far.. #i751 #interview #texas

I-765 GC EAD approved

so I expedited on the 28th Dec directly by talking to a USCiS agent (Didnt hear anything on this , was told no officer was assigned to it due to backlog) . I then asked my congresswoman to expedite , they expedited on the 21st (I reached out to them today to see if there is an update, they said they dont, will need to wait, USCIS responds to them within 30 buisness days. I did my 2nd expedite yesterday (the agent asked me if I wanted to do a new expedite request) I got an email asking me to fax supporting doc as evidence. I faxed the docs around early afternoon. Seeing few people here and there who sent the supporting docs /expedited , got an approval the next day. I hope its the same for me / anyone I submitted a copy of my current EAD, my lease agreement, current job offer which states what project I am working on (contributing towards technology advancement) and a cover letter with the inquiry letter I received from USCIS on the 27th . I got approved today.
