I-765 GC EAD approved
so I expedited on the 28th Dec directly by talking to a USCiS agent (Didnt hear anything on this , was told no officer was assigned to it due to backlog) . I then asked my congresswoman to expedite , they expedited on the 21st (I reached out to them today to see if there is an update, they said they dont, will need to wait, USCIS responds to them within 30 buisness days. I did my 2nd expedite yesterday (the agent asked me if I wanted to do a new expedite request) I got an email asking me to fax supporting doc as evidence. I faxed the docs around early afternoon. Seeing few people here and there who sent the supporting docs /expedited , got an approval the next day. I hope its the same for me / anyone I submitted a copy of my current EAD, my lease agreement, current job offer which states what project I am working on (contributing towards technology advancement) and a cover letter with the inquiry letter I received from USCIS on the 27th . I got approved today.

@J C , I got impatient towards the end my current EAD category so I wanted to try all means of expediting. IT sure does work in mysterious ways for every case

@Abdul yeah but just takes forever. I need an emergent travel so just setup a meeting for emergency AP hope that works out. I also tried all means with senator and everything but it just takes time

Hi @abdul khan what were the reasons for the expedite request? I did an ER last month over the phone saying only personal financial loss and they replied a month after saying it got denied without asking for proof. I reached out to my congressman and Senator and Congress raised a ER on the 19th but still no updates. Senator submitted one yesterday. When I call USCIS they say they can’t see the congressman ERs. My EAD expires next week so I’m trying everything at this point. Thinking of calling them to submit another expedite request but idk

@z m severe financial loss could lead to us becoming homeless since we wont be able to meet the leasing agreement, pay bills, medical bills, will lose insurance. As I am working in contributing towards tech as well

I just called today and asked to expedite my EAD and they sent me an email asking me to fax the evidence which I sent them today. really hoping that they also approve my expedite request

it took me a day to get an update, so yeah , hope you submitted all the supporting docs and email from USCIS.

yeah I faxed all the supporting docs and the email as well. as well as a separate cover letter explaining my situation. I just submitted it today though so hopefully I hear back on Monday otherwise I plan to call them and ask them if they’ve received my fax
