Hi all, After receving the GC. How long until you get the ssn card? When I apply for AOS, I did check the box that asked if I want to apply for ssn. But now I am not sure if i will get it or I have to reapply again? I called the nearest SSN Center to check the status and they said they did not see anything with my name so she schedule me an appointment to apply for ssn in person but the appointment is all the way on 1st March. :( Can I apply for a job while waiting for ssn appointment? have anyone have any experience with this? Thank you in advance :)

EAD application approved

My EAD case status changed to "New card is being produced". I did not expedite. Advance Parole application was filed at the same time. Can I expect this to be a combo card? Case status for my Advance Parole application is still "Case was received"

765 / 131 approved!

Received notification from lawfully app on the 28th saying new card for my 765 was being produced. Today both cases “were approved”. This is my timeline! everything was received by NBC. i485 got transferred to nebraska and that’s because of my husbands forms he’s the primary and it’s an employment based GC. He is still waiting for 765/131 since October 8th (his biometrics) his PD is May 2021.

Sharing my timeline here because I loved getting a small bit of hope from every one of your posts as I'd eagerly await updates for my own case! My timeline confirms my suspicion that cases are processed by priority date (rather than by I-485 filing date). Does anyone know roughly how long it takes for the card to be delivered?

Thank God .....I received my Green Card almost after one year. I think processing time is getting better and I hope everyone get their Case approved ASAP.... thanks for help I got from this community....

THIS IS MY TIMELINE: DACA holder since 2013 Advance parole and enter thru JFK 12/2015 ARRIVING ALIEN- USCIS HAS JURISDICTION OVER ARRIVING ALIEN Submitted i-130 May 2019 Submitted i-485 September 2019 My case was transfer to another office that had jurisdiction over me Oct 2019 NYC Federal Plaza Removal proceedings as of Sep 2019 ( asylum case pending since 2016) - Closed Interview :Nov 29 2021 i-485 Approved 01/25/22 i-130 approved 01/26/22 Card was mailed 01/27/22 Card received 01/31/22 My card came with my new surname My lawyer will make a motion with the immigration judge to dismissed my removal proceedings case. It should be fast because it is just pro forma. No decision has to be made.
