I-765 Approved
Earlier than expected, and definitely unexpected this early on, but good news nonetheless!

did you expedite?
max meanerJan 29, 2022
did you get it through work? or through marriage?
Tom GarnerJan 29, 2022
no - straight submission, although my lawyer messed-up as my 140 has been pending since May. 485/765 since September.

@Tom any idea when 229007 will initiate adjudication?
Tom GarnerJan 29, 2022
@Trend - sorry, I donât. I was surprised to see this approved so quickly given what I had read on other forums. It does seem a few others have received theirs too, so maybe thatâs a good sign that things are starting to move?

congratulations..

@Tom hopefully and thx

Tom - congratulations! I think we might be in a very similar boat - it certainly sounds like it. Your Receipt Note indicates delivery through lockbox. Mine start with LIN 21 9 04 - which I canât make sense of vs. USCISâ fiscal year. Fourth computer day - while generated in early September (towards the end of the fiscal year)..?

congrats đž each case is different
The FredJan 31, 2022
Tom - were you out of status otherwise?
Tom GarnerFeb 1, 2022
No, my L1 runs through to mid â23
The FredFeb 1, 2022
Thanks, Tom - your lawyerâs cock-up might be actually whatâs causing this.
Tom GarnerFeb 1, 2022
Fred - thatâs a possibility. The 140, 485, 765, 131 were all filed in May â21 but they had used out of date forms for the 765/131 so they were rejected by USCIS and had to be resubmitted. However, the 140 was accepted and has been in review since then - hoping to see that approved in the next few months. Then just need to get the 485 approvalâŚsounds so simple!
The FredFeb 1, 2022
The more I observe and read, the more it seems to be the case that if you get your I-140 in first and then submit the I-485, etc. once the former has generated Receipt Notes, then that split helps.
You were looking for concurrent filing - but because of the error you ended up with a split.
The FredFeb 1, 2022
I filed in August with Receipt Notes from early September - concurrentlyâŚ

good luck - got my âcard has producedâ notice today
