when scary time will over!
it is close for 4 years, I applied for vawa green card . case still pending and no any update and action. my vawa got approved on February 2024, uscis made lots of issues on whole my case, wrong contry of birth on my EAD took 10 months to fix it by involving Congrssman office, missing medical rfe , time clock was passed, again involving congressman office to find out missing rfe. now field office has my rfe , again no any update from them . Oh God my stress level is very high, when is going to be over.
Approved, but not sent to NVC yet
Both USCIS my I 797 and have said that my case was approved and "sent" to the NVC. I contacted the NVC and they said that they haven't received my case.
How long did it take for your case to be sent to and received by the NVC?

FINALLY!!!
I WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR A JUDICIAL OATH TAKING ON DEC. 17 BUT MADE TRAVEL PLANS FOR CHRISTMAS I SENT A MAIL TO USCIS WHERE I DID MY INTERVIEW FOR RE-SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION OF NAME CHANGE AND VOILA AFTER 3 DAYS I RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION THAT MY OATH TAKING WAS RE-SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER. BLESSED!

This entire process is just about having the right support systems around you to keep them positive affirmation for you to keep going forward. otherwise it’s beyond exhausting.
Took 6months after my embassy interview to finally get my approval.. 1year after my i130 was approved.. and 2yrs 5months after I started the process..

Police Certificate
Hi All
I hope someone can assist me in this question. I am uploading all the civil document onto the NVC portal for my sister Green Card. They asking for a Police Certificate from U.A.E but she left more than 20 years ago back to our country Lebanon.
So what to do and provide as she cannot get it
Any advice on this is greatly appreciated
Delayed H1B application response by 5+months
hello all my application was filed in May with receipt notice being June 3rd at California Service center. Been 158 days more than 5 months still no update. Anyone else in the same boat as me.
Also is it anything to be concerned about my employer just telling me to wait. Is there anything that employers can do to request the reason behind the delay. TIA
