still waiting
our PD date is Nov 17, 2022; interview was December 15, 2023. IO refused but requested proof of the most recent flight; however the way she worded it was not correct. she asked for the proof of flight after our marriage which had been submitted as proof of our relationship. our case was returned to USCIS, reapproved and sent again to NVC since May 24, 2024, after checking the status of our case, they responded that the consulate refused it and is returning it to USCIS (CEAC showed the most recent update Nov 7, 2024). no one has ever contacted us for another interview or requested more evidence. has this happened with anyone else?
at this point I feel like it’s the consulate against USCIS but who would have the final say? if USCIS has approved it twice then they don’t see any issues with our case? I’ve called the consulate and they have always told me they cannot assist me with any answers and to contact USCIS. this has been since January.
Help?!

Tips FOR I-765 and I-131 RENEWAL application
I’ve seen here many posts from people that are waiting on their I-765 and I-131 renewal applications to be approved. Applications that have been pending for a long time now.
And I noticed that the applications have been sent either to Texas or NBC to process.
This is an informative post only. And I hope it helps for those that still need to apply.
USCIS has asked to send EAD and Travel Document applications to especific addresses (depending on the State where you live), to speed up the process.
I renewed mine, my daughter and my husband myself and I used the address they said I should send it, and our cases were approved really fast.
The USCIS page where they list the addresses for that is posted on the comments below.
ADDRESSES ARE FOR C9 category ( NON FAMILY BASED ) depending on the State where you live. Check the list
Like I said, I hope it helps those that will apply and I hope the process is as fast as they did with my cases. 🙏🏻

How long does it take for passport to be issued?
Hi guys, good morning! My husband had his interview on November 5, 2024. He got approved! Glory to God! 🙏 On the paper they gave him, it says that they will issue the visa within 10 working days. Is this accurate? By the way, your moment is coming! We waited over 2 years to be at this stage. Thanks for your help!
EB2 PERM Approved - PD Sep’22 Applied Oct’23
Got approved tonight.
My case fell outside of normal processing time at the NBC in August 2024 after I called USCIS. I submitted 1 request through my local congressman in September without success from USCIS (basically a all good and normal just wait) 2 requests by myself , one in August and one in September with the same message. I received the answer for the second request yesterday (negative) and submitted a request to the ombudsman office this morning but it does not matter now because tonight my case is approved.
Good luck to everyone still waiting, USCIS has proven that they don’t tackle cases in order they receive but use a stack instead so if you haven’t been approved within 6 months there’s no incentive for USCIS to approve you any time soon anymore as it will impact their median processing time.
Another pattern I have noticed through 30 datapoints at my company is that applying concurrently leads to faster approval time on average. I think it’s because cases will end up being transferred so it will basically put the application at the top of the pile at the service center.

Thank you Jesus the wait is over 🙏🏾
Thanks you Jesus, green card in hand after waiting for over 2 years 🙏🏾
had my interview, was nervous but it turned out good, we got a really nice interviewer…note to anyone scheduled for interview bring all correspondence that you received from uscis and the passport with the stamp when you entered the US, they asked me for that…didn’t have the letters but I had my old passport. questions she asked was
where and how we met
each others dob
our address
she asked my husband my kids name and asked him the second child’s dob
the letter I got was for my I-130 but we also did the interview for the I-485 and she told us on the spot that it was approved…if you have any questions that I didn’t address feel free to ask…and for those waiting long I pray your wait is not too much longer 🙏🏾
then it was just a conversation after asking if we wanted kids together, what we did for our last anniversary, our home town in ja cause she has relatives from there

Oath Ceremony
I had my Interview October 7th and the Agent told me I had passed the Civics Test and that he will recommend me for approval for the Oath Ceremony. I have noticed that some Applicants get their Appointment for the Ceremony within a few Days and as of today I have not received any Updates. It still says Scheduled for an Interview. Anyone else had that happen too?
Thank you
