B1/B2 visa after change in citizenship
Question below on behalf of my mother:
I am citizen of country X. I was originally born in country Y. I got married to someone in X and my husband faked my birth certificate and got me a passport for X. My husband just passed away recently due to cancer and my son and daughter live in the US.
I have visited US before on Y passport and said it was by birth on DS-160. Now I want to move back to X and get citizenship there by birth and give up my Y passport.
Will my B1/B2 visa be rejected if I apply again with new X passport? I know I can mention previous citizenship on DS-160 but I’m more concerned about the by birth issue.

who is planning on traveling in 2025?
I have traveled 2 times with AP, so far everything has worked out fine. I scheduled a trip with my fam to Colombia on April 2025, but my family is concerned because I will be using AP and they are afraid that under the new president the return process to the states will not be as smooth as it was before. what do you guys think? I also have to submit my renewal request in may..
