Request for Initial Evidence
Hi everyone, I recently submitted my case to USCIS, at first it was the I-130 and last month I submitted I-485 and I765. today my husband who is the petitioner got a notification saying they took action on the case. when I logged into my account there was a RFIE, however when I logged into my account on lawfully it said that I received a request for initial evidence or a notice of intent to deny. either way I am little freaked out. anyone in a similar situation?

Pretty long waiting, I sent 2 SR on July and November.
My RFE was about the 485J.
The application was ay NBC the whole time.

My VAWA was approved on September 6, but since then, there has been no update on my I-485 form. It's been more than three months now. I called USCIS and spoke to the bot. When I checked the status of my case, the bot informed me that my case is at the NBC. However, I never received an update about my case being transferred. I'm tired of waiting for the medical RFE! Is anyone else in the same situation? How long did it take for you to receive the medical RFE?

it was not an easy journey. finally I can close this immigration chapter.
throughout this entire process, I realized that the more documentation you provide the less chances are for a rfe. I received birth certificate rfe, then they put me in CRP and then they gave me second rfe for marriage and new medicals. happy to help community in any way. good luck and thank you all in advance.

Good afternoon community!
I have a question that might sound a little stupid but if they say that your interview was waived is a good sign, right?
I have another visa process besides my marriage case and I sent a request for travel authorization in May under that visa application (so I didn’t submit one with my marriage case) and it was denied 2 days ago, so sad, frustrating and discouraging. So I'm kind of seeing everything dark rn and I just want to keep my hopes up with my marriage based case. My husband is trying to cheer me up but it’s hard to see the good side. My immigration journey has been so long.

my interview is scheduled for i485 yeaterday.
vawa complete package file on july 2021
RFE for medical nov 15 and send it yesterday.
i dont know if they are going to cancel the interview after they recieved the medical. my app is acting up, i never received the update on the system about RFE.
RFE notice before completing biometrics appointment (I485)
Hi,
To give color to the situation, I submiited my I485 in 2022 as I am an eb5 investor. Havent heard anything from them since last week. My I526 got approved in 2022, right before I submitted my I485.
I received a biometrics letter yesterday saying my appointment will be in 2 weeks from now. Today, I receieved a recieved a rfe notice which I think is odd since I havent completed my biometrics appointment.
Is this normal? or is this a good sign things are finally moving?
