The RFE online status has not been updated.
I received an RFE from USCIS. My lawyer and I spent a whole month working on the RFE and sent the response two weeks ago. The status hasn’t changed. The lawyer says this is normal, and they often don’t update the online status. But previously, all statuses were updated on time. Has anyone else experienced this?
Main applicant approval (I-485 green card) but dependent still pending
Today (1/3/2025) I got approval (card is being produced update in my USCIS account) after more than one year. Filed on 11/8/2023 with priority date August 2022. We are EB-2 Mexico but dependent ROW (both being current for a while)our case was all the time in NBC but one and a half months ago moved to Hartford CT and then to San Fernando Valley, CA (Where we reside)
The thing is that my wife still remains pending. Any similar experience? how long would my wife appproval take?

RFE
I just received the RFE for additional evidence they asked for bona fide marriage and clarified if I want to wait in the us or not because my lawyer said that I would go back home to wait for the GC and send another affidavit because the one that I got from my friend they don’t count it because there wasn’t enough evidence that it was my friend like address his full name nothing and I have a removal order they want me to get removed before . smh I need your help. I think my lawyer didn’t know what she was doing. should I hire another lawyer or keep the same one that I have now?
A day after biometrics, EAD got approved
Quick Update: Authorization Employment Document has been approved today after biometrics done yesterday. Woohoo! No more worried about needing to stop working
Now to keep waiting for the rest.

CRP since July
hello, i just want to ask you guys if you have any idea or thoughts about my case, I am still in CRP since July, and my contract with my employer is about to end this coming week, and now they are asking me to extend my contract until my GC will get approved but I alread have EAD. My questions are, Is it still necessary for me to extend my contract since I already have EAD? Is it possible that my employer who sponsored my GC processing can revoke my I-485 processing if I wont extend my contract with them? Thank you guys!

RFE response rece8ved by USCIS but misplaced
Is this a common scenario? I got a call from attorney today to inquire about the response to previous RFE. I sent all the proofs (shipping receipt, delivery confirmation and even screenshot of my case status). However, when they spoke to officer, she said USCIS will issue another RFE. It is just eating up the time for adjudication 🥺.
