“USCIS has taken an action on our case.”
Last April 9, 2025, my USC husband received an email saying “USCIS has taken an action on our case.” Till then, we did not have any further updates.
We checked our document tab, but there’s nothing there.
PD: January 13, 2024.
I’m worried as it is already 15 months and I’ve seen a lot of approvals around our PD. 😣
What could it possibly mean?

my PD is 9 March 2023, I got same message USCIS has taken an action on our case on April 11, no response

same thing happened to me, my pd is october 31st 2023. This past 27th of february i got an email saying they have taken action… its been almost 2 months of that and there’s no update. My lawyers called uscis and said it was just an automated email sometimes the system just sends out but that there was no updates…. i wanted to cry the entire month of march, i couldn’t believe and still can’t believe it… 17 months already and so much uncertainty… and then that email for nothing. it’s torture. but i really hope that with your case you DO get an actual update ✨
