how do you add a case to an online account? it keeps saying You cannot add this case to your account because it has already been linked to a USCIS account If this is your case, return to your home page to see your case status. If you are trying to add a case for a family member or friend, you need to sign out of your USCIS account. Your family member or friend will need to sign in to his or her USCIS account to view their case status.

The petitioner has to add the case on their account , if it says it’s already added then maybe they already have it on their account. In order to add a case to your account you need an online access code which they mail to you when you create the account. if you didn’t receive the access code by mail, you can contact them by submitting an inquiry about the online access code,and they will give you a call with access code, but only the petitioner can do this.

@ghost busters maybe you need a different email to create USCIS account then add the case separate, this happens when the case wasn’t filled concurrently
