RFE - not uploaded yet

What are the most common RFE requests that an application for a parent of USC could receive? because I can’t even imagine what they’d be requesting, since we sent in everything translated, complete medical package and affidavit of support. Besides translation, medical and affidavit of support, what are other common RFEs? Police background from home country? Thanks!! (btw I cannot see the notice online yet. Maybe tomorrow it’ll be uploaded to MyUSCIS

🎉🎉 Applications for people born in my country get an almost guaranteed RFE about birth certificate. My lawyer was quite proactive about it and attached a few other proofs (high school certificate, mark sheets, etc) with the original application. Looks like it worked. good luck to everyone else!

I-130 F2A to IR-1/CR-1 how long it'll take

hi family I have a question plz answer me my case PD was started Agu/2022 and its by F2A I-130 at californium service center BUT my partner is now legally became US citizen last week's and she uploaded her document to uscis account so now how long it'll take to change my case To IR-1/CR-1 or transfer to NVC. thank u.

I don't mean to rude but we're all in the same situation in this immigration journey. I know some of us are just looking for reassurance or some hope but asking how long again before approval wouldn't get you an accurate answer. No one's knows not even lawyers. My advice will be to make your case as strong as possible by continuing to add evidence of a bonfide marriage as time goes by.

hello my I485 has 2 weeks remaining until Decsion.. I have been waiting since Feb 2024 will they add more time or give me an answer… anyone has similar situation ?

My lawyer got a letter today. I have the interview for my green card on March 25 at 7:15. I-360 sent on August 2021 I got approved on July 2023 NO PRIMA FACIE, NO RFE, NO BIOMETRICS. (I think they used my old ones because they denied my first vawa application). I-485 sent on November 2023 BIOMETRICS- July 2024 RFE- November 2024 (medical ) They received my medical on January 14, 2025 and TODAY got the appointment notice.

Officer has reviewed your case

Hi all, I asked an Emma live agent for an update on my case, and I was told that an officer reviewed my case on February 4. My i485 was filed on November 8, while my i140 was approved on December 11. ROW. EB1C I was also told by the same agent that my case has not been transferred to a field office. Never received any RFE and no update since the day of review. What does that response mean, and what happens next? Thank you all

How long is the ideal time to go out of USA under Advance Parole?

Hi, i just have a question. I hope you guys can help me with some good advise. I had an AP approval recently and im planning to go home in my country (philippines). I like to go 3 weeks to 1 month cause its been like 8 years now that i havent been home. Is it ideal time frame under AP, or should i make it shorter? ive heard that AP is only design for short travel. is it true? id appreciate your responses…
