Just came back from Europe through Washington DC
Hi,
I see lot of people asking about traveling while having the advanced parole.
it’s my first time traveling during the new administration. I spent 10 days in Europe ( Greece & Italy), and came back to the US this afternoon, Dulles IAD.
They did not ask me absolutely anything!
I have no record and never never been out of status .
Good luck everyone !#parole #traveling

Hi, that's great. Thanks for sharing your experience. So, you returned without having a green card? Just wanted to be sure.

did u take visa to use the advance parole ? or just the advance parole can go to Europe without a visa ?
Bee ZJun 16, 2025
I don’t need visa to go to Europe
Bee ZJun 16, 2025
@shenni law I have left the county more than 8 times .

You don't need a visa because the place you travelled is your home country or you hold a valid international passport there....... Advance parole is not a recognized travel document into/ transit Schengen countries

@Bee Z, can you use advance parole to a country you claimed on asylum? I am Currently AOS based on marriage
Bee ZJun 17, 2025
@jimmy .. wrong . my home country is allowed to stay in Europe without a visa for up 90 days .
Bee ZJun 17, 2025
@Mmmm gggg , I’m not an attorney so I don’t. want to give any advice. I’m not under asylum , although, if I were, I wouldn’t risk to leave the country .

@Bee Z thanks for the update.....the fact that your home country is allowed to stay in Europe does not mean other countries have that opportunity.....there are exceptions to every law....most countries especially in Africa without that privilege cannot travel to Europe without a visa( or American passport in the case discussed)....
the Airline will notify passengers with parole from those 'non privileged passport holders to disembark and reroute'

@jimmy .. my post was to give my experience as a advanced parole holder! I’m not sure why you’re mixing up subjects and making it all about Europe.
If I’m going to travel to any country, I’m in an obligation to check the requirements to travel to those countries. It’s kinda obvious thing to do!

@Bee Z ok thank you
