IR-5 IOE093 — Anyone got EAD from NBC recently?
(IR-5), over 21.
My receipt number starts with IOE093, and my case is being processed at the NBC (National Benefits Center).
Here’s my timeline:
PD (Case Received): April 21, 2025
Biometrics: May 21, 2025
Form I-765 still pending (no updates yet)
Category: IR-5 (Parent of U.S. citizen 21+)
I’ve seen some IR-5 cases getting approved in less than 90 days — even over weekends — so I’m wondering if anyone with a similar timeline or IOE093 receipt block has received their EAD recently?

It's too soon to expect any news. I waited 13 months for the work permit and advance parole, and then another 3 months for the interview andnoe is been 2 months after the interview and nothing

Thanks for sharing your experience, but I believe timelines can really vary a lot. There are actually quite a few IR-5 cases from NBC (IOE093 series) being approved within 60–90 days recently some even over weekends.

Hi Abdulla! Just to clarify I'm actually the parent. My son is a U.S. citizen and filed the IR-5 petition for me. I’m already in the U.S., so I’m doing Adjustment of Status. Since IR-5 is an immediate relative category, there’s no need to wait for the Visa Bulletin it's always current.

I applied under the same IR-5 category (I’m the parent) and my biometrics were on May 21, so I’m really hoping things move soon. Seeing your timeline definitely gives me hope!
