Just wondering
We have submitted I-130 and I-485 to Chicago lockbox and got transferred to National Benefits Center. Residing in the US and DACA recipient (came when I was 6 months old). I’ve been seeing that cases from Jan 2024 are being accepted and I was wondering if the timelines are likely to look the same or if they could be processed faster considering I live in the US for 20+ years and have DACA? I know nobody could tell when we’ll get accepted but just wanted to know if those factors help us in terms of speed. Thanks for reading/replying!

Q: Renewing SIJS for deferred action
Hi all, I have a question about renewing SIJS to maintain a deferred action (DA) status and would like some insight from someone that has gone through the process before.
My PD is August 2024, and I received DA for 4 years, which is set to expire in November 2028.
I realize that 2028 seems far away right now, but faced with the prospect of having to wait YEARS before I am able to apply for an EB4 green card, I want to be prepared for the future.
So can SIJS be renewed, and if so, does your DA get extended as well? #EB4 #SIJS #DeferredAction

Vermont Service Center: I-130
VERMONT SC
Hey everyone,
Just checking in to see if anyone has seen any recent I-130 approvals from the Vermont Service Center lately (especially in April 2025). I just wanted to know if there is any movement as I never see any Vermont approvals
If you or someone you know got approved recently from Vermont, could you drop the PD and approval date? Would really appreciate any updates — trying to get a sense of whether things are finally moving.
Thanks in advance!
RFE received for i485
hello, please I have a question, I received an RFE for my i485 for Birth certificate and Medical and my lawyer wants to charge me again to complete that for me. My question is do I send Original birth certificate or copy? Also how can I locate the I-693 form for civil surgeon to fill out, and if you live in NJ any USCIS civil surgeon recommendations? I will appreciate a response. thanks
