I just got this message last week from USCIS. I’m still hoping to get my green card soon.
I would love to travel, but I’m not sure at the moment I don’t know what to do. I might wait for my green card for a couple weeks. If I don’t get it in couple weeks, I’ll you try the travel with the Travel document.

i do have rtd . it s been 5 months. I just skipped my travel plan with my 2 toddler and wife. I didn’t want to risk it. but I really wanna go!

crazy part is it s only valid one 1 year. even if i get gc in 6 months i can not travel. because u need travel documents. damn!
