Entry change and A#
Last month I realized I put the wrong date for my wife’s date of entry on the I130 we submitted late January. I tried calling but the automated system kept taking me in circles and insistig I submit online. The most relevant option I found was “typographical error” though that is for errors THEY made on documents so I did that anyway and chose “other” as the option. I was supposed to hear back by April 24 but still haven’t and don’t know where to look up the status of the request ID # I was given.
is this the right way to correct the info and avoid further delays? if so, how can I check on that status if I was supposed to receive a response a week ago?
Also, where do we find her A#? is that something we get only after she’s approved?
Thanks!
Can I file I-130 without hiring an attorney?
Can I file I-130 for my spouse my self without attorney representation? my wife is abroad and only I-130 can be filled here in US. The rest of the process can only continue in US embassy abroad after I-140 approval. Besides, the online I-130 filling process on USCIS website seem to be very detailed and easy-to-follow. while I understand that the approval of I-130 is a long wait, do you think it is worth paying for attorney over 3 thousand dollars? what is your take on this?

Hello, if you are in removal proceedings, are you considered out of status? I also have TPS now. lawyer is saying I was considered out of status when my court case was pending.
Medicaid
Good afternoon everyone, the DCF approved my son's medicaid for 6 months, and now it's asking for proof that the SSN request was made, can anyone shed some light on this? I have to go straight to the SSA , due to an error by a former employee of my lawyer, they did not send my son's I-765 form along with mine, so I will have to wait another year to approve my son's, my son cannot be left without medicaid :(((
cases transferred to the local office
processing checks on the applications listed below and the cases have been transferred to the Orlando Field Office for processing.
Got courtesy email from USCIS While review of the case is pending, you have an opportunity to supplement the file with additional documentation that you believe may support your (your client's) eligibility for the immigration benefit. Please do not resubmit the same documentation you submitted with the initial application.
