Hi S P , I’v applied for second AP the receipt on 01/31/2023 I didn’t hear nothing from the USCIS yet, I remember that’s you had applied for AP last year that’s right ?

Hi D A, I have applied for second AP as well on 12/29/2022 and got my receipt notice on 1/13/2023. Did you apply on 1/31/2023 or get receipt notice on 1/31/2023 and which service center?

the receipt number was on 01/31/2023, if you don’t mind did you go to your home country did you faced any issues with immigration when you came!.

no i did not face any issue at all while returning to us with advance parole. by the way when did you apply for advance parole? what date does the uscis received your application?

they received my application on 01/31/2023!

I send mine on Dec 29 2022 and got my receipt notice on Jan 13 2023. When did you got your receipt notice?

I got my receipt two weeks after receipt date, but I’m kind of worry to travel to my home country under TPS, What’s your advice, did you travelled to your home country!?

i traveled and came back couple of times with no issues. So i would suggest if you were never out of status before getting TPS then you can travel with advance parole under TPS

Good, I travelled before outside US but not to my country, I heard from some people that the TPS same assylum I can’t go back to my country, is that true ?!

Tps and Asylum is both different. If you are in Asylum then you cannot travel to your country but in TPS you can

I have only TPS but, I’m worrying traveling to my home country, thinking there will not let me in into US, what was your reason for travel when you filed the Advanced Parole if you don’t mind me ?

The reason is Family Visit and i also have only Tps and i have traveled to my home country couple of times with no issues

what dates did you asked for when you filed the application S P ?

i dont remember the exact date but i think it was in May 15 2023. but whatever date you put it doesnot matter. the AP gets approved in its normal processing times

My advance parole got approved it 5 months

I asked to travel in July 1th let’s see how long it’s will take !..

they gave me till May 29 2024 with multiple entry

good, what you asked when you filled the application for a full year or less than?, I don’t know is that ok to stay more than 3 months outside US what you think @S P ?

I asked for 45 days stay outside US. With TPS advance parole, we can stay max 3 months outside US and not more than 3 months
