anyone in Djibouti who is in AP also seeing “case last updated” date change? on CEAC it still says refused but the last update date changed may 16th (day of interview), may 18th, May 22, May 23 and today date changed to May 29th. I don’t understand what this means as I haven’t heard anyone else seeing it updated this much.

interview done today at embassy Cairo Egypt
my father completed his IR5 interview today at Cairo embassy, had a typo error on the petitioners birth certificate so they requested a DNA test. The consular told him it shouldn’t take that long to process, any experiences with this before I just want to get a better understanding of the time frame and process? at the end of interview she gave him instructions on how to get it done and a yellow request form for the DNA
Parent’s interview
Hello all,
My mom is scheduled for her I-485 interview soon. I want to know if the child that petitioned for her can attend with her. This is because she struggles to understand the American accent though she understands English. Can she be accompanied to the interview? What accompany documents are needed? All the documents as specified in the interview notice have been sorted, but I just want to be sure we are not missing anything. I will appreciate insights on those that have experienced child-parent based interview. Thank you 🙏
Letter Received about my Appeal is Unclear... someone help pls
I filed appeal in January 2021 based on denial of my case because of authentication of certificate. I received the letter below in March 2023 from counsel office
" The field office director hereby request this appeal be remanded so that evidence submitted after the appeal may be evaluated to determine whether petitioner now meet his burden of establishing authentication for immigration purpose"
Three days later, I got another letter below
Filling receipt for USCIS (dd) appeal.
The board of immigration appeal
S acknowledge receipt on 6th/March/2023.....
Pls I want to know the meaning of this letter...
Why they just sent it to BIA after 2.5 years ????
When should I get the result from BIA ???
I have waited for 2.5 years already, do I still need to wait another 3 years since BIA just received appeal f on counsel office

Hey everyone, please share your experience with me. My interview is waived since November and my case was transferred to the local field office. Today I received an RFE for initial evidence on my i485. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ONCE RFE IS RECEIVED? OR WHAT SHOULD BE MY NEXT RESPONSE FROM USCIS?

i-485 denied followed by i-290 B dismissed without any valid reason.
Hi Folks,
I have a very frustating case to be shared. Need your suggestions based on your experience; appreciate your quick response on the next steps:
I filed for i-485, i-131 and i-765 at the same time around Sept, 2022.
Then got the biometric appointment for the below dates:
1. Oct 18th 2022 (received late so could not make it)
2. Dec 6th 2022 (was out of USA for emergency so had to reschedule)
3. Dec 23rd 2022 (was out of USA for emergency so had to reschedule)
4. Jan 9th 2023 (ASC was closed for construction work)
5. Jan 31 2023 (ASC was closed for hazardous weather - snowing) : here I have not reschedule the appointment seeing the instruction from USCIS site, it's USCIS job to reschedule since the ASC was closed
Then in Feb I got the I-131 denied stating NOT appearing for Biometrics. My attorney suggested not to appeal rather file a fresh i-131, which we did.
Later on my i-765 and at last my i-485 was denied for the same reason on March 22, 2023.
Now, we had to file the appeal/motion on Apr 3rd 2023 stating, it’s not my fault since the ASC was closed on Jan 31.
Around 45 days after on May 19, 2023 got the status as ‘Appeal/ Motion was Dismissed’ Your case remains denied.
As per the notice sent, USCIS is unable to approve your motion for the following reason (s):
The evidence you submitted with this motion doesn’t overcome the reason (s) for the detail of your application or petition.
