interview done today at embassy Cairo Egypt
my father completed his IR5 interview today at Cairo embassy, had a typo error on the petitioners birth certificate so they requested a DNA test. The consular told him it shouldn’t take that long to process, any experiences with this before I just want to get a better understanding of the time frame and process? at the end of interview she gave him instructions on how to get it done and a yellow request form for the DNA

I think it's less than a month ! the issuance of a yellow form indicates that the visa consulate requires additional time to review the documentation .Please Tell me what is your father DQ date ? and what is the priority date ?

@one love one love so does the issuance of the yellow mean good ? she told him she only needs the DNA test ASAP, and it shouldn’t take long. he still has his passport she didn’t take it after the interview

there is no problem , the passport must be with him. when the embassy call for a dna sample ,it is because he needs it . do you do the dna ?
