any OPT F-1 students on here filing I-485?
my i-765 has been pending for 7 months and my opt expires in 1.5 months- do you think uscis might be waiting to review my case closer to my opt expiration date? 63% of i-765 from my submission date have been approved and of the remaining 37%, only 18% total are actively processing with mine (others have different statuses) so it is definitely very slow. data from casestatusext (google it)
Approved for combo card!
Last June 1 I noticed that my I 131 was updated to “Case closed” and I got an approval notice for a combo card on my USCIS online account under my documents tab. Got another update today! On June 8, 2023, we produced your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.
How long til i receive the actual card in the mail? TIA

After approval of I-130 and I-485
Hello everyone,
I recently received a notification that my I-130 and I-485 was approved but after 3 days of approval I checked the status of my I-130 and it says that it has been sent to “Department of State”. Does anyone know what this means and what the next steps would be?

Received my “Card is being produced” status today. WAC is slower than expected but didn’t want to chance it with concurrent N400 filing where case doesn’t get sent to local office.

Yesterday I shared this good news:
Just came here to share some good news. Keep the faith. My application from Jan 18th was confirmed today. I also had another application for someone else Feb 9th that was also confirmed. Both were approved same day.
Today we did the travel authorization for both and the Feb 9th person got their approval authorization to travel same day. (we got the decision like 5 hours after submitting)
We're still waiting for the travel authorization for the person from Jan 18th. I hope we get it tomorrow.

I waited much more than processing time. so I did live Emma chat to check my status. They said my processing time is normal and don't ask same question until next month ( they gave me specific date). After passing the date that they gave, I got an email about my combo is approved.
