how long does it take for the case or to receipt the notice to arrive and know where my case has been transferred?
My PD is 07/20/22
Also does the new visa bulletin and retrogression affect my case?

CR-1/IR-1 Case at NVC - US Citizen Sponsoring a Spouse
My case is currently at NVC waiting for an interview date. We became documentarily qualified on 2/22/23. My PD is 12/6/21. My spouse is in India. Raised an inquiry with NVC & below is their response. This case is documentarily complete, which means the NVC has all the documents we requested. Your application is waiting for an interview appointment, where a consular officer will adjudicate it.
The U.S. Embassy or Consulate provides the National Visa Center (NVC) with a list of available appointment dates and times. We will schedule your case for an interview appointment when an appointment date is available. We schedule appointments on a first in, first out basis. After we schedule your appointment, we will forward your case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General in MUMBAI (BOMBAY)
We cannot predict how long it will take to schedule your appointment, but we will notify the applicant, the petitioner, and your attorney (if applicable) when an appointment is scheduled. Your case will stay at NVC until that time.
processing logic
hi community! does anyone understand the logic behind processing times? my spouse’s EB1-A I140 has been approved in November 2022, our country’s pd is current -our pd is 8/3/2022 and we submitted I485, I765 and I 131 on december 5, 2022. until now, we have only received the eads mid may. if anyone else is in this situation please reach out. I keep checking case status for at least I131 because we need to go back to our country to get school diplomas for the kids to get into university but I don’t even think that’s a valid reason for an expedite request. If very few from our country have cases pending, how long do we still have to wait? medical has been submitted with I485 and it’s EB1a. what do you think, should we expedite the I 131 at least? USCIS processing times says 20 months which is crazy. any thoughts?#eb1a #i485 #i131
dependent employment based485 still pending
Primary was approved, but dependent 485 is still pending with the “… fingerprints applied…” status. cases to NBC were transferred at different dates, which may have caused the separation. it’s been a week since the primary was approved. Both applications were submitted together. Do you guys know how long it takes for adjudication of dependent 485? Any others in the same situation?

hi, my case for i485 was transferred in Mar 2023 to Detroit FO. haven’t heard about any progress since and I see the est processing time for Detroit is 19.5 mo. does anyone have similar cases with Detroit FO and how has been the experience? PD - Oct 2022, country India, based in SF.
