any experience with using the ombudsman? I got this response today.
The CIS Ombudsman's Office has reviewed your request for case assistance and contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regarding your I-765- Application for Employment Authorization.
We will notify you when we receive a response from USCIS that addresses your concern. In the event USCIS requests additional time to research, we will follow up with them the following month and provide you with updates as they come available through email.
Status during I485 filing
I am worried about my status while my i485 is filed. I graduated in December 11, 2021 and i applied for my OPT EAD. I received my OPT EAD and my start date was Feb1,2022 and my i485 was received by USCIS in March 10,2022. Even if i had OPT EAD i was unemployed during the time of my 485 filing. My case says its ready to be schelude for interview. Will this have any effect in my case?

I tried asking for my status update with Emma today , given I see other got update on non local FO assignment. when I asked for the update they said case Is moving as expected but earliest i can ask for status is Nov 2025 🥲. two questions
1. what does that mean ?
2. how did others get reps to answer updating the status?

hello Everyone!! i hope u re doing well. I have submitted my application in december 2021 . we got married in october 2021. USCIS asked for my medical report. and i sent it in april: it has been more than 3 months . still no update no interview or approval. is it normal ? we gonna have our 2 nd anniversary on marriage in october 2023 . Do u think they will issue 10 years GReen card ?

Name Discrepancies on MC- Islamabad embassy
Hello, I have a question. I just noticed that my father in law’s name on our marriage certificate is Muhammad Aftab Khattak but on my wife’s BC, his name is Muhammad Aftab Khan. on our Nadra MC, his name is also Muhammad Aftab Khan. Does anyone know if that’s an issue or it the name on the Urdu MC needs to be fixed and how we can fix it ?
