I entered the US legally (with a visa) and I am adjusting status since I overstayed the time I was allowed to, in the adjustment of status do I have to fill out form 601A as a waiver or only people who enter without documents?

@another person If you were inspected, you don’t need a 601a. You need a lawyer for this case, please don’t attempt this on your own.

you will need a waiver if your spouse is a green card holder but if your spouse is a US citizen you don’t need a waiver.
