Interview Cancelled same day of the interview.
Hi everyone,
Big shout out to this community for all your help!
Has anyone had an experience where their interview was canceled before the interview date? My PD is July 05, I was scheduled for an interview today but I checked my USCIS online account and realized that it was cancelled.
Has anyone experienced this? what was the outcome?

Adjusting Status as Nigerian is Harder?
I have read online that trying to adjust status (i.e. concurrent I-485 and I-130 filings) is more difffult for people from certain countries, and Nigeria is one of these countries. Will our case have higher scrutiny than usual? My husband should be able to easily prove there was no immigration intent, as he prepaid a year’s worth of rent prior to coming to the US. We also didn’t even meet until essentially the end of his visa. But now I’m worried him being Nigerian coupled with how fast our relationship went (we both want to settle and have kids very soon and are from strong Christian backgrounds so you simply marry when you “know”) will hinder our application. We have TONS of proof of bona fide marriage but I’m trying to get everything right the first time and address any potential concerns before USCIS questions anything 😅
5 months after primary applicant. Finally.
Got "new card being produced" 5 days ago. This is 5 months after the primary applicant got approval.
does anyone know how long is it taking for cards to deliver?

I applied back in November of 2022 and we didn’t hear a PEEP from USCIS for 8 months. So I took the initiative to upload more evidence of bonifide marriage and then BOOM— my employment card was mailed. A couple weeks later BOOM— I got an RFE for medical. My lawyer mailed it the same day they received the RFE letter. Three days after that KABOOOOM— I was approved for I-130 and I-485!

I truly believe doing this has moved my case along a lot quicker. try this today:)
ALSO,
My lawyer told me the reason why many applicants’ processes are taking longer than usual is because their applications may have mistakes and don’t have enough evidence of bonifide marriage. Make sure you triple check all your forms.
Another tip, don’t show evidence of your political or controversial views in your evidence (texts/emails between you and your partner). This may hurt you as you don’t know what your officers’ personal views are from yours.

Finally got approved
Finally, i have my family based I485 been approved. it was long way to get approved. i wish all fellows in this community to complete their cases successfully. Dont lose your hope, stay focused and pay a careful attention to your documentation that gonna be submitted to USCIS

F1 COS H4 EAD
Anyone knows how long H4 standalone I-765 application should wait? (I know there's a webpage for processing time on USCIS website, but I would like to know the real case.)
I had F1 OPT in the past and it took 3 months for the EAD to arrive. Now I'm married and I am under H4 status. It has been 132 days but my case is still pending. No action was taken - still saying received by USCIS. Is it normal, and how much longer should I expect?

I'm under vawa processing abuse relationship from my previous relationship. I applied more than a year ago. Now, I'm dating with a very special person and I posted a picture on my Instagram profile, has a problem post that? Has a problem have a boyfriend during the process?
