Pathway = Consular Processing to I-485
I selected that I would be going through consular processing in my I-140 petition but later decided to go through USCIS by filing I-485. My I-485 is currently pending (with the priority date being current). I am wondering if my case needs to be transferred from Department of State to USCIS. The current status of my I-140 is "Cas was sent to the Department of State". Will the status of my I-140 change when it goes to USCIS office during I-485 review? Please could somebody share their experiences?

Why is that taking more than 120days?
F1 married to USC.
Got my EAD before the interview.
After 6 months of filling we have done our interview. And interview officer gave us a paper asked 120 days to make a decision.
However, It is already passed 130 days after the interview.
*why it is taking more than 120 days?
i-130 and i-485 showing "being actively reviewed" after the interview.
*Should my wife contact with the Senator or Congressman?
* Is there any option to do expedite for i-130/i-485 at this moment?

hi everyone! I’m planning to travel in December with my extended conditional green card to Africa!
but me and my husband is fighting lately and is treating to call the immigration to not let me come back in USA in case I travel to Africa .
we have a son together! can he really do that???
