Hey, I have an interview next week for my wife. does anyone know if we have to file the Ds5535 form. because I heard if you do it's like you're asking them to give you administrative process. is that true? please if you have had an interview can you please tell us what kind of questions we will get. thank you in advance. #djibouti #DJI

I would like to know that anyone who got the i601a approval and who passed the interview is still here in this group. If so, I heard this news that some people in mumbai,IND consulate got denied at the interview and told them that they need to file i601 waiver aswell.
I601a waiver is to waive the unlawful presence.
I601 waiver is to waive the misrepresentation.
Which means more waiting time😭

Please Advise: Approval I-485 pending - VAWA
Hello, i applied for VAWA in August 2021 and it was approved in October 2022 (no RFE required). My I-485 status was updated to fingerprint taken in October 2022. i haven’t heard anything since then. it’s been 1year and 4months since status was updated. Didn’t receive any primia facie or RFE. Anyone else in the same boat or similar situation?
What would you recommend/suggest i do?

hey guys back in August my husband had his interview with the NVC, he was refused. we just fixed all the errors of why he was refused, and now after we submitted everything back to the NVC we got told this case is being sent to USCIS. is this normal and how long does it take for everything to be processed?

UK citizen, still in Europe, applying for a green card to join my US spouse in America. Filed in April 2023 and had an estimated time to decision for many months that was continuing down normally. Then we got the above message on our myUSCIS page in October and we haven’t heard anything since. Not sure how much longer it’s going to take to move to the next step. anyone else get this worrying message?

Has anyone else had challenges with the register for selective service requirement? I applied for a green card a couple years ago and was not made aware that I needed to also register for selective service. Fast forward a couple years and I’m now applying to become a US citizen and I’m over 26 years old and can no longer register for selective service and need to submit a letter of explanation as to why.
Has anyone else had to do this?

Hello Everbody, I filed for my husband I-130 March 2022 and it was approved April 2023. We became documentarily qualified on August 17th, 2023. It is currently January 29, 2024 and my case is still at NVC. I have tried to submit an inquiry to Ciudad Juarez, because that is my interview appointment, but they stated that I have to send my inquiry directly to NVC because it is still at NVC. Is anyone else going through the same process? I do not know what else I can do to expedite it is about to be 6 months and still no interview date. #ciudadjuarez #ir1 #i130 #appointment
