3 years marriage for citizenship and tax filing status issue
hi everyone,
i filed for my 10 years green card last year and my case is still under review. currently, i have reached my 3 year mark to apply citizenship through my marriage.
we do have a couple of joint stuffs proving our bonafide marriage but the issue is that when it comes to tax year, my wife refuses to file seperately and jointly and always files as head of household
what do i do to be eligible for the citizenship? how do i come out of this mess? any help is appreciated.
thanks

Hey USCIS need to fix the tax return situation because our partners that are filing for us to adjust our status take all the tax returns for themselves and when we talk about it they want to tell u if it wasn’t for them we couldn’t file taxes because they did our documents smh… I know a friend of mine going through this smh

you can file tax amendment. That is tax fraud on your wife’s part.
what do you file as ?

when you’re married it’s either married filing single or married filing separately. head of household is not legal @w s you need to check that

Thanks for sharing. I did it on the App "Inmigra USA" the community of Immigrants in the United States. inmigrausa.com
There are immigration lawyers and free collaborators.
Stay up to date on news of interest to the Latino community.
Search Inmigrate USA.
I chose the Florida community, it looks like they are starting now, so I recommend you choose Florida.
Busca inmigra USA el app del inmigrante, de verdad es muy buena tambien.
Thanks!!!
