i864 insufficient
I submitted i864 with an income of $298k for a household of 4 to support my parents application, but NVC is asking me to get a joint sponsor because my income is insufficient, even though I beat the poverty guidelines by a whole lot. Please any one with similar experience or knows what to do should advise me. Thank you!

@sophie lee I don't know why? if you made that much that is enough for 4 plus parents unless you have debts plus your current location expenses increased.
they look at all those issues. best of luck!

hello Sophie, take a look at line 11 and 9 on your tax return it also matters if you have a W2 or a 1099 for a household of 4 plus your 2 parents line 11 should have at least 62,940. good luck with your process

@luis Rodríguez I file my two seperately form for mom and dad.
My family is 4(spouses and 2 children)
what is the total household size for each i-i864 , is it size =5 or 6?
