Combo Interview N400 & I751
hello everyone
my interview was on July 8 I was previously married when I got my green card to my first wife but unfortunately things didn’t work out so we got a divorce and I remarried and filed for the I751 and N400 with my new wife when we went to the interview the officer mentioned we needed a waiver, as I was researching on Google I guess they call it a divorce waiver, the officer didn’t deny me, but instead informed me he will send me a notice of what he needs, so from my understanding I think he wants to make sure the first marriage wasn’t fake which it wasn’t, but should I be concerned, can he deny my case? and I am waiting for the paper and it can take up to one month, I do not know what to do. but has anyone went through this. please help and advise me thanks
We finally did it
Filed everything together, even I-693,
Filed everything on March 7, biometrics ar March 31, interview at May 27, got RFE, waited month then submitted all, approved within 5 days after submitted RFE responses, i assume if we did everything fine, could’ve got it on the May 27th, more info at the bottom.
Got a RFE due to lack of bona fide evidences, so added more documents with our two names, like lease, auto insurance, phone plan, etc, and month of joint bank account with more transactions.
also submitted more pictures from the date we filed to current, also tons of text messages between us, friends, and family members.
Other than that, everything was fine, you guys can do it without lawyer too, trust the process.

finalmente aprobado🙏🙏
My journey ended yesterday, I had my interview and they finally approved me. A USCIS agent spoke to me 5 days ago that had an appointment for me. Thanks to Maria L, who helped me with a congressman, and they gave me priority because my wife is in the army and my application was already out of time. I hope everyone receives their notification soon. The interview was very pleasant. At that time, they approved my I-130 form and my I-485 form. May God bless you all and may you be approved soon.#🙏

Expedite Request (I-131)
Hi everyone, I have a question about my expedite request.
I originally submitted my expedite request on May 6 and I have called USCIS two or three times since then to follow up.
Every time they told me the same thing — that I would get a response within 10 days — but no one ever contacted me.
This morning I called again and this time they told me they will close the old expedite request and open a new one for me.
I’m not really sure if opening a new expedite request is good or bad for my situation.
Has anyone had a similar experience or does anyone have any advice or knowledge about how this works?
I would really appreciate any help or insight. Thank you so much.
