I-765 Taking Long
Hey everyone! I have seen so many approved I-765 forms under 100 days and mine is almost at 150! I can’t submit a query until November so is there anything else I can do to get some feedback as to why it’s taking this long?

I’ve been waiting for 1001 days today. I’ve done multiple inquiries, congressional inquiry, my husband called on my behalf as well. Lawyer is useless, she keeps telling me she will look into it, but never responds back, so I constantly have to nag her with that. Everythung was approved: I-130, I-131 and my EAD. EAD expired this year in April, along with my drivers license, so I lost a job and I can’t drive anywhere.
I called USCIS on April 30 and lady on the phone said I will get a call within 30 calendar days, I didn’t. I didn’t even get an email, I had to call them and find out that my case is under review -_-
it’s been under review for almost 2 years at this point. what happened was: my I-130 was approved in November of 2022. and I got an RFE for my medical, which I sent December 2nd 2022. (the RFE was just a letter, nothing on my account, and I never got an update that my medical was received. I told people on the phone about that and all they say is “yeah that’s weird”) and nothing since, just notifications that it’s under review. recently I got an email saying that they forwarding my case from NBC to Washington field office.
now, I called them once again on July 8, and young man said someone will call me within 30 days. I called again yesterday, he said that all he could do is just to add some notes so the officer could pay attention. but I just don’t believe them anymore. I don’t know what to do at this point. I could file Mandamus but it costs a pretty penny.

Age Gap + Interview
Has anyone done an interview with an age gap in their? my husband and I have been married for over a year and we just got our interview. we didn’t use an attorney and I already have my work permit. I’m scared of what the process will be, as I also had to move states for work because I couldn’t get a job where we lived and he travels for work as well.
Does anyone have any advice of how to approach the interview?

my dependents' AP and EAD were approved last week. this morning we got 2 i797-c notices for AP and 2 for EAD. both copies look identical. do they always send two copies of each?
we haven't received the actual card yet. it does say on the EAD related i797 that the EAD card will have i-512 endorsement for travel since EAD and AP were approved at the same time.
how long does it take for actual card to deliver?

register interview?
I just have a quick question! My husband and I filed for IR/CR-1 and our documents were qualified 07/17/2024. He called the medical facility in Dublin to see about getting an exam scheduled and they told him we need to register our interview online. The email from NVC told us they would work with the US Embassy in Dublin to schedule it. I know we need to register but I’m confused if we need to do it before we receive our interview date? Thank you!!

I did raised a SR after becoming current on July 1 and I believe that helped.
