im frustrated about my 485.
I feel frustrated. It's been 17 days since I did my interview and my i130 was approved the next day. And my i485 is being reviewed and my progress shows step 4 before the decision, it's been 17 days. They are disrespectful. Some cases are evaluated in 1 month or 2 and others have to wait 2 sometimes 4 years.
how more long 😭
This email was given to me by USCIS, it's been 3 months and I'm not getting any answer, can I file a mandamus and wait for 6 months?
thank you for contacting USCIS concerning the above-referenced application. Below is a summary of what we have found.
Due to workload factors not related to your application, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. We anticipate the delay to be approximately 6 months from the date of this notice. We assure you that we are working to complete adjudication of your application as quickly as available resources allow. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from USCIS by that date, please reach out to the USCIS Contact Center for additional assistance.

greencard in hand !
Hello everyone
I hope this message finds you well! I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the journey we're all on together as we wait for our green cards. Whether you're a dedicated missionary serving with heart and soul, or a young dreamer pursuing your aspirations here in America, we're united by our shared hopes and determination.
This process can feel long and uncertain at times, but let's remember that we're not alone. Each of us brings unique stories, experiences, and dreams to this group, and it's inspiring to be part of such a diverse and resilient community.
Let's continue to support each other, share updates, and stay positive as we move forward. If anyone needs advice, encouragement, or just a listening ear, know that we're all here for one another.
Wishing you all strength and patience on this journey.
Take care, Danny Linares

after 12 years of filling I got an update 45 days ago my case mitigated to ELIS with a new receipt number when I checked the new receipt number in case status tool I got this "case was received and receipt notice not sent". What can I expect next and when will the receipt notice be sent since it has been stuck on this "case was received and receipt notice not sent" from 45 days ago. Hope someone can help. Thank you.
