I-130 approved and I-485 in standby
Hello dear community,
I just wanted to share my latest timeline :
July 16 : I-131 approved
July 22: Advance Parole received
July 24 : I’m in a plane to see my family
July 30 : Email telling me USCIS is reviewing my I-130
July 31 : Email telling me USCIS is reviewing my I-485
At this point I’m super happy, I know that something is happening.
July 31, 15 minutes later : RFE
I’m super disappointed
Today August 1st : I have access to my RFE and actually, it’s good news! They’re basically telling me that they’re about to approve me BUT they can’t because I’m abroad…. Once I’m back to the US I’ll have to send them my I-94 stamped.
Few minutes ago I got my I-130 officially approved! 😍

I sent my i485 form on July 11 and they sent me receipt notice and said “ case is being actively reviewed”, then they sent me RFE on July 15 to resubmit sponsor’s documents. And, suddenly the case status was changed today to “ case is being actively reviewed by USCIS” without sending RFE documents. what does that mean? does it mean USCIS doesn’t need RFE documents anymore.
Finally!!! 🥳🥳🥳
Finally our case was transferred to NVC. Today we received the notification from USCIS and NVC just sent us the welcome letter 🥳🥳🥳
Thank you God!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😭😭😭

interview at federal plaza
we completed our interview today at federal plaza in nyc today. The officer was very nice. However, because my husband had a criminal case that was dismissed and we filed a 601 waiver the fraud when coming to the US, the case is held for review.We are confident that everything will work out. Still no approval of the work permit or travel document.
