you better apply for an emergency advance parole, if you have proof of your emergency you will be approved in place

@ra k I hope you won't say that you have a medical emergency but you don't need to travel until January...over 3 months from now. That doesn't come off like an emergency. You need to request it for now. The document won't specify when you need to travel by.
