2 year journey finally came to an end
Even after case became current we did not see any movement for a month. We contacted ema and raised a ticket too. That seems to have expedited the process because our case got approved in just two days after that.

Retrogression goes so bad
Anyone knows using AI to predict your Priority date to be current.
It’s so ridiculous for an AI to predict my PD September 2021 to be current between 2027-2029
Also, this backlogs are created because USCIS didn’t realize there is a surge in demand and supply. I mean how they cannot predict if it is going to retrogress back to 3 years.
First retrogression was in June 2022 with final action date back in April 2019. It makes more sense if 2 years later June 2024 the final action date should be in April 2021, not in November 2020. It is 5 months gap, I think the way they work are just so ridiculous and harmful for the applicants.
How can you not realize there are 3 years backlogs soon? They update the final action date each month but they don’t realize that?
How Long to Get GC after approval?
Submitted my I-130 & I-485 concurrently and the I-131 was approved and the next day the I-485 was approved. I received a letter today about the approval notice. How long will it take to receive the GC in the mail?

i130 finally approved!
The wait has been difficult and I’m so happy about our approval. I enjoyed seeing others post their timeline and I hope our journey is encouraging to someone. Our case was originally at Nebraska service center and was transferred to California service center earlier this year. Goodluck to everyone.

About to file I-485 for the first time!! Help!!!
Hi friends!
I'm about to start my I-485 application, but first I'd like to know if you guys have any tips, advice or suggestions I could follow before I start filling it out, or if there's anything I need to know for when I'm already typing in the information. I've heard it's quite long and that some questions could be tricky.
Also, how did it go for you? Has it been approved? Did you encounter any issues/problems when filing?
This has me super anxious and I want to do it all the right way 🥹

my wife received a letter from USCIS for her form 1-130 requesting her to submit evidence of bonifid marriage and the dead line was today but she managed to send our lease bills birth certificate church affidavit and pictures, car insurance and and also my employment letter because I work with the state of Texas and many other. I don’t wanna go for any interviews I really wish I can be given my green card but am more than 2years of marriage. I need your opinion.

All this time I was thinking my service center was Texas because that’s what is in my receipt, but I stop to a live agent just now and I was told my case is no longer with Texas but Potomac service center. please how fast is this center I’m 16th July 2023 it’s 12months now and my case changed from Taking longer than expected to 5 months🤦🏾

Today I received a phone call from the immigration officer asking questions about my case. He asked if I had started working and information about the bdv, sent me an email asking for evidence, I forwarded my pay stubs, messages with my supervisor and answered the questions about the bdv.
Is this normal?
